Privacy policy

Last updated: September 2026.

Hubelia (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices available to you. It is provided in keeping with Québec’s Law 25 and Canada’s PIPEDA.

Information you provide

When you contact us, book a discovery call, or submit a form, we collect the details you choose to provide — such as your name, email address, company, phone number, and message — solely to respond to your request.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our servers automatically log technical information such as your IP address, the pages you view, and the date and time of access. An IP address alone does not identify you, but combined with other data it may be considered personal information. We use this only to operate, secure, and improve the Site.

How we use your information

We use your information to reply to you, scope potential work, produce aggregate statistics, and improve our services. We do not build individual profiles from information submitted through our forms, and we do not sell your data.

Cookies and similar technologies

Our Site uses an essential cookie to remember your language preference. We also load Google Tag Manager on every page, but under Google Consent Mode with analytics storage, advertising storage, ad user data, and ad personalization all set to denied by default. While they are denied, no analytics or advertising cookie or identifier is written to your device.

While consent is denied, a cookieless signal is nonetheless sent to Google. It contains your IP address, the URL of the page you are viewing, and the interaction and conversion events you trigger on the Site — such as submitting a form — together with the campaign parameters in the link that brought you here. It carries no cookie or identifier, and Google uses it only to estimate aggregate traffic and conversion counts — not to build a profile of you or to target advertising at you.

If you accept the Analytics category, Google Analytics 4 sets the _ga and _ga_* cookies, which store a pseudonymous identifier rather than your name, and we set our own hub_attr cookie to remember which campaign brought you to the Site. If you accept the Marketing category, advertising storage and ad personalization are enabled for Google Ads. For full details and to manage your choices, see our Cookie Policy.

Telephone numbers

We retain telephone numbers solely to facilitate direct exchanges — contacting clients and suppliers about the services concerned, including enquiries, updates, and support.

No SMS marketing. Hubelia does not run SMS marketing campaigns. We will not send you unsolicited text messages or use your phone number for mass communication. Your number will not be shared, sold, or disclosed to third parties without your explicit consent, except where required by law.

Disclosure and third parties

Your personal information is accessed only by team members who need it to handle your request. Any other disclosure is made only with your consent, except where required by law. Where we rely on third-party service providers, we take measures so that your data is disclosed only as needed to deliver the service.

Our measurement and advertising providers are Google — Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, and Google Ads — which receive the Site usage signals described under “Cookies and similar technologies”. Google may process this information outside Québec, including in the United States.

Data security

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including monitoring network traffic for unauthorized access. Please note that email and other electronic communications are not fully secure unless otherwise stated; avoid sending sensitive personal information through unsecured channels.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described above or as required by law, after which it is securely deleted or anonymized.

Campaign attribution data is kept for a limited time: the hub_attr cookie expires 90 days after it is set, and the Google Analytics cookies about two years after your last visit. When you submit a form, the campaign details in effect at that moment — including any Google click identifier (gclid) present in the link you arrived from — are stored with your enquiry so we can attribute it to the campaign that produced it, and are kept for as long as we keep the enquiry itself.

Your rights

You may ask to access, correct, update, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw your consent, at any time. To exercise these rights, contact our Privacy Officer at info@hubelia.com. We will respond within the timelines required by applicable law.

Social media

Our social media accounts are hosted on third-party platforms, not on our servers. Anything you post there is public, so please do not share personal information — yours or anyone else’s. We may remove comments that are disrespectful, unlawful, or contain personal information. Review each platform’s own terms and privacy policy before interacting.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, so please review it periodically.
